If you’re a travel agent who’s been struggling with creating video content, feeling that your photos aren’t good enough to create amazing marketing pieces, you’re in the right place. Video creation can feel like it’s out of your comfort zone, but these days, it’s key to having a good marketing strategy.
In this post, you’ll learn how you can take content and media from Wanderlust Social bundles and use it in videos to make you look like a rockstar no matter the level of your video creation skills.
Pick Your Bundle and Download the Images
Wanderlust Social provides done-for-you marketing for travel professionals available through customizable destination and seasonal specialty bundles. Every bundle comes with stock images to promote the destination. These photos are a great resource to post and share with your audience on social media, but in this case, let’s grab them and add them to video editing software.

Hot Tip!
If you’re struggling to come up with topics to talk about on video, you can even try downloading the Blog Posts provided in your chosen bundle to use as an outline for your video!
Open Your Chosen Video Software
Once you download content from your bundle that you want to use in your video, open your favorite video software. We personally love using iMovie as it’s pretty user-friendly and comes free with Apple Devices.
To prep yourself for success, first record a “talking head video.” Talk about the destination or what it is you’ll be promoting. No one wants to only see slideshows of images forever, so it’s important to bring in a personal connection!

Start Editing!
When you’re ready to bring in an image, you can drag and drop an image onto your video. One of our favorite tips is to use the “Ken Burns Effect” to add some movement to your images.
If you want to add an image to your video that’s smaller and overlays the background video, you can use the “Picture in Picture” setting. This is a really popular effect used by vloggers and YouTubers!
Using the same idea, you can add an image of a lead capture from your Wanderlust Social bundle to add a CTA to your site! Not sure what a lead capture is? Check out this post to learn more.
